AN INTER-DISCIPLINARY EXPERIMENT
An archive can preserve a woman's work and still get her wrong.

publish my body
IN DEVELOPMENT. Publish my body is an interdisciplinary performance bringing radical composer Barbara Strozzi and rebellious nun Arcangela Tarabotti into an unconventional dialogue about autonomy, consent, and ownership. Baroque music collides with contemporary sound, movement, and accumulating electronic loops, while a live visual archive – an enclosure of scrims and projections – acts as an autonomous presence, interrupting, distorting, and contradicting the action. The audience physically enters the archive, becoming part of a world in which the stories we think we know are unstable and the record itself cannot be trusted. Who decides which version of a woman survives – and is it the truth?
